They are a very colourful sheep, more colours than any other British native sheep, as well as having lovely fine fleeces. They are good at keeping paddocks tidy, making them good conservation grazers, and excellent at improving pasture grazed by horses. They have been treated to protect them from flystrike till the end of the season, and wormed with the relevant wormer. They have also now all been vaccinated with Heptavac-p.
