6 FERTILE (PROVEN) EXCHEQUER LEGHORN HATCHING EGGS (LARGE FOWL)

This listing is for 6 Exchequer Leghorn hatching eggs.

The leghorn (any colour) lays a beautiful white egg. They are prolific layers, laying an average of 280 eggs per year and sometimes reaching 320!!, egg weight is at least 55 grams. There are extremely pretty birds and if handled from a young age may become very friendly. The cockerels are ‘kind’ to their hens so all in all, a great bird to have in your flock.e

We are breeders of many types of poultry from quail to turkeys for some 16 years with excellent quality birds all round. We have won may accolades with our birds and eggs over the years which we are very proud of.

All our eggs are proven fertility before we begin to collect and send.

All eggs will be collected fresh. 

When you get them home, please allow them to settle pointy end down for 24 hours, these should be stored tilted 45° and then tilted in the opposite direction at least once during this time.
