Garden and Grounds
To the north of the farmhouse is a walled courtyard providing
parking and to the south is the former route of a moat, now part of the garden, which is predominantly laid to lawn and slopes down to farmland and the River Yeo valley beyond.
The south facing garden is mostly laid to lawn with mature trees. To the west is a vegetable garden whilst to the north are a number of traditional outhouses currently used for storage, some of these are listed including a detached cottage.
The house is approached from the north east, a no-through road leads through farmland and past the attractive farm cottages and farm buildings which are detailed later in this brochure. The road runs under the railway and is then lined with mature oak trees and wide mown verges and stone walls behind. To the south of the house is an attractive paddock laid to permanent pasture which has been grazed by cattle and would be ideally suited to horses or livestock, it extends to 6.99 acres.
