East Kirkland Farmhouse is a substantial, fully modernised, traditionally built Victorian farmhouse with white walls and a tiled roof. On the ground floor a conservatory has been added to the front of the house and the original reception hallway has been incorporated into an open plan dining room with a handsome fireplace housing a wood burning stove. The conservatory overlooks the garden with a large wildlife pond at the end. There is a beautiful drawing room with ornate cornicing and an open fire. The main entrance hallway is now to the rear of the house and is open plan to a sitting room with a wood burning stove. There is a modern dining sized fitted kitchen with a Rayburn cooker and electric hob and oven. Off the kitchen are a compact office, a shower room and a fitted utility room with two external doors. On the mid-landing there is a modern bathroom with roll top bath, and on the first floor there are four double bedrooms.
