She is currently in her middle-aged years, looking for a calm environment to settle into.
She has a lot of character, enjoys listening to music/whistling/singing.
She will say hello when you enter the room and goodbye when you leave
*****IMPORTANT INFORMATION*****
Molly is not a hands-on pet and does bite.
She has deeply ingrained boundaries and will lash out if pushed or if someone misreads her body language.
She is highly intelligent but needs a handler who understands positive reinforcement training, target training, and avian body language. Because of this, she will NOT be rehomed to a family with young children or absolute beginners.
Molly needs an adult-only home with previous large-bird experience, a patient owner willing to let her settle in at her own pace without forcing handling.
Molly will come with her current cage, food and toys to help make the transition as stress-free as possible.
If you are an experienced individual who understands the reality of living with a challenging but rewarding older bird, please get in touch.
