8 year old male finish Goshawk for sale

Reluctant sale of my 8-year-old male finish goshawk, offered through no fault of his own.

He has an excellent temperament and is a brilliant, experienced hunter with proven ability on rabbit, duck and pheasant. His hunting weight is 1 lb 9oz.

The only reason for sale is that suitable quarry is limited in my local area, meaning I cannot provide him with the amount and variety of hunting opportunities he deserves. This is a decision made entirely in his best interests.

He is a fantastic bird who deserves to be flown regularly and given the opportunity to do what he loves.

I am looking for an experienced falconer who can offer him an excellent home, plenty of suitable game to hunt, and the time and commitment he deserves.

This is a genuine, reluctant sale, and finding the right person and home is my priority. I am not looking for a quick sale; I want to ensure he goes to someone who understands goshawks and can give him the hunting opportunities he needs. He is currently on fat weight and free lofted

Serious enquiries from experienced falconers only, please. No idiots or will be sent away. The right home is more important than the price.
